Rooted awareness for healing and wholeness

Mindfulness and Meditation

Cultivating calm, clarity, and compassionate presence

At the heart of healing is the ability to be with what is—with presence, gentleness, and awareness. Mindfulness and meditation are foundational tools I integrate into care, both as daily practices and as gateways to insight, resilience, and deeper connection.

I don’t just teach mindfulness—I live it. I’ve trained in Mindful Self-Compassion, participated in week long Vipassana retreats, and guide practices rooted in both Eastern traditions and modern contemplative science. Whether in one-on-one visits or retreat settings, I weave in mindfulness to meet the moment with presence and care.

Why Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention, on purpose, with kindness. It helps:

  • Regulate the nervous system
  • Calm anxiety and stress
  • Reduce pain and emotional reactivity
  • Improve focus, mood, and sleep
  • Deepen self-awareness and compassion

It also supports the healing relationship itself—allowing for attuned listening, mindful pauses, and a sense of safety and presence that allows insight to emerge.

How I Work With It

I offer mindfulness as part of my integrative care and retreats in the form of:

  • Guided meditations tailored to your needs
  • Somatic mindfulness to reconnect with your body and breath
  • Mindful self-compassion practices for inner healing and resilience
  • Ritual and reflection tools to deepen presence and insight
  • Education for healthcare professionals seeking to integrate mindfulness into their work

When Mindfulness Can Support You

  • As a daily practice to cultivate presence, awareness and clarity
  • During times of stress, overwhelm, or burnout
  • When facing a health challenge or major decision
  • To support your journey through non ordinary psychedelic states—before, during, and beyond.
  • To anchor grief, caregiving, or emotional intensity
